Jordan Martin
Hi my name is Jordan Martin, I am Factor Nine moderate Hemophilia B. I was diagnosed when I was 9 years old, and it has been a journey ever since. I have been active in many sports throughout my life and lived a healthy, active lifestyle through preparation and planning. I wrestled for 10 years, managing to become a state champion my senior year of high school, I attended Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina on a wrestling scholarship. This was my primary sport growing up, outside of many others. Even after college I stayed involved with the wrestling world and coached at two different high schools to help develop young men into successful athletes. My career lies within the fitness industry for the last 6 years, working one-on-one with clients, group classes, and specific athletic training. Currently I work with Orangetheory Fitness in Greenville, South Carolina as one of their fitness coaches. Fitness is not only a passion but a lifestyle I live by. I take my next step into the Ironman Circuit ring, as I will be competing in the Augusta Half Ironman in September of 2019. I have never been a cyclist or a marathon runner, so this is going to be an amazing new adventure with all sorts of triumphs and defeats. I can not wait to share this journey with you all!
